Hi Mike
You may have read in other posts that L.U.C Mark III, the model name is one of the more confusing one.
Reasons it can be various reference number like:
1) Mark 3 (III) - Ref : 1905
2) Mark 3 Classic, with centre second - Ref : 1907
3) Mark 3 Classic, with small second - Ref :8500
You may refer to this post : chopard.watchprosite.com
/
However from your price reference of USD5K and Stainless Steel casing, I guess you are talking about the reference:
1) 168500-3002 slate-grey dial
2) 168500-3001 silver-coloured dial
The Stainless steel case diameter is 39.50mm and the thickness is 8.50mm. Sapphire case-back.
Internal engine is Calibre 3.96 with a solid 22K micro-rotor.
For detail specifcations : please
click here Its a regular production model...however, by my logically deduction ( and own opinion); with L.U.C annual calibres capacity of 3,000 pcs, this model may not be in huge volume output as the contribution margin may not be attractive.
You are right, it is extremely good value for the buck. Absolutely no catch... you should go to the AD to examine them and convince yourself.
The reason/s could be what MTF has written.

Can someone let me know what the dimensions are of this watch and if it is a regular production or LE model? Also, I have read that it is around 5,000 USD, is there any reason why this watch appears to be at such a good price? Is there something I do not ...
