Watches like yours always remember

me why I vastly prefer vintage watches over modern ones. After all these tasteless abominations released @W&W 2024 yesterday I feel even more convinced in my decision as I take a look at your beautiful GP or some of my own vintage watches.

These beauties just can´t be re-created. Or maybe they could (beside the patina) but the manufacturers just don´t want to. And why should they - they have a customer base that wants to shell out completely insane, out-of-this-world amounts of money on their mass-produced watches that are not that special anymore if we are honest.

Good for us, let the hype be hype and enjoy the real deal - the OG - for a tiny, almost laughable price of the modern executions.

Maybe I am overly critical here, but every year with "new" watch releases I get more and more convinced that vintage is the way to go.

On ostrich strap. Beautiful under the California sunshine ☀️ ...

Pretty sure you meant to post this under GP . . .

. . . but yeah, at a glance it could easily be mistaken for an Omega.

A beauty, this GP!

After all the monstrosities released yesterday at W&W, thank you for bringing much needed if only temporary peace of mind and simplicity!

Yes, sometimes we need to balance the hype
