I'm a newbie to this world of watch collecting. I have been trying to find information on this particular watch, but can't seem to find anything other than what the seller posted. Does anyone know anything about this watch?

Thank you for replying, and offering to help me identify this watch. Seller doesn't have any picture of the back. But add says Caliber 8290, and limited edition series 3. Here's the ad on XXXXXX: PLATINUM SPLIT SECOND 40MM CHRONOGRAPH BY GIRARD PERREGAUX....

Doesn’t seem to know about these off catalog type of pieces. So much information has been lost in the various ownership of GP over the last 20 years. Also, these models came out in the 1990s and just prior to the internet taking off. That’s also why Peter...

But need to be re-linked to Peter’s old posts. That’s what I was volunteering to do.

I can not make the changes as only the moderators can do it. Either me or anyone else to fix the links … let’s not let this valuable and irreplaceable information from Peter CDE go to waste. 🙏🏻
