A set of three Girard Perregaux Complicated watches: Minute Repeater, Rattrapante, Tourbil

Apr 06, 2015,03:14 AM

From circa mid 90ies....

White Gold:

Rose Gold:

Platinum:

Get all these complications in the same Watch, and you will have a Grande Complication.

Among these 3, I think I prefer the white gold set, for once. The smooth dial makes them look less 80ies....

And you?

Best,

Nicolas

Different Logos on the dials! Thank you for sharing, Nicolas. My preference goes for the WG or the PG... :) Best Blomman

is the least fav, but not because of the Pt but because of the two-tone dial design. I think the PG with the blued hands has the strongest character. Sublime trio. If I'm not mistaken all 3 of them are hand-wind, but I'll check the catalogue. CC

I am not sure the Rattrapante is manual winding.

Older complicated GPs are such an interesting field and there is so little information available. Actually, to be exact, there is a ton of great info from PeterCDE on WPS, problem is 95% of photos got lost. I am sure those pics still sit somewhere in WPS ...

from Peter CDE previous posts as the pics show broken links. Very sad to see and hoping this can be fixed … 😒

If someone will the time to do it. I volunteered but evidently I don’t qualify as one needs to be a moderator. Is someone else willing to do it? πŸ™πŸ»
