a typical Movado movement..

.. i would say Graham. Recognizable by the characteristic curvatures of the gear-train plate (always reminds me of the shape of "Cumulus Mammatus" clouds, in meteorological terms..). Don't know exactly what the movement's diameter is.

At first glance it is lacking the huge balance wheel of the Z135 and is heavily chamfered on the outer edge. Of course there are also plenty general similarities but hey, the 30mm Omega does fall in the same category then.

As a sidenote:  not all Z135's were equipped with a complicated regulating device, did you know that?  Funny enough:  the genuine observatory 'racing horses' do show a more simple double stick version. More 'commercial' values were not required here for adjusting for best results by the pro's.

Thanks for showing the Mov. picture and cheers,

Ben.

Chronometre

Hi this is difinately pic of cal 135 but why it doesn't have markings of ' chronometre' ?

Because a small part of them came without bearing the Chronometre wording.

 By: amanico : July 13th, 2013-01:14
For a good reason: Because they were not submitted to Chronometers Tests. To be clear, some, a few of the Cal 135 were not. Best, Nicolas
