Where is a camera when I need one?
Jul 03 2008,02:38 AM I met up with a collector friend in Korea. He was wearing his Black Label Resonance and I had the Black Label CS. Very enjoyable seeing both dial colors together. The color was very consistent in both. I wish I had a camera. As many of you know earlier dial colors particularly YG and RG had wide range of variations. After weeks on the road I'm looking forward to getting back to Hong Kong. The main reason? My Zodiac is back from service waiting perfectly aligned at the boutique. |

White Subdials

Another observation I forgot to mention. I think the the black label dial on the Resonance has less of a visual impact because it's contrasted by the large amount of white in the two subdials. When I look closely at the CS I think there is a beautiful balance of the steel hands and white hour/minute markers and the black dial. With the Resonance it's absolutely stunning but I think less to do with the black dial.
