Finally some decent pics..301A love...What do you get if
May 15 2008,05:12 AM

you rearange the word NOSTRUM???? Exactly ......MONSTRU wich in  my book means MONSTRE

Indeed...remove the girly croc...(way too thin for my liking hahaha)..and that's exactly what you get....The first Mare on the forum with a 5mm MONSTRE strap ,that does this watch the justice it deserves....Does change the look...doesn't it??

Cheers guillermo

Yep, Guille, the Monstru Nostrum is just one of my 3 favourite Panerai...

One of the few who have been rescaped from the disaster...LOL

Love it so much that I think this is one of the rare watches I will die with...

Best, my friend, and love the combo you found for your watch..As you, I changed the strap, and found ( well, a good friend of ours ) a sew in buckle for it...

Strange but perfect combo!

Nicolas

The funny thing is that people don't understand this Mare
May 15 2008,13:09 PM

And it's a good thing..We'll see their faces when the watch will be a HIT!
Nice Holy trio, you have there...Even if I nkow that you own these watches, it's always a pleasure to see them!
The Sub Sly is gorgeous, but my all time fav is of course the Logo...As You, I presume...LOL
Stay tuned, I'm preparing a big review of the Logo, my friend!
Best, Hermano.

Did you say LOGO and SLY??
May 15 2008,13:47 PM

...Next to the Sly you can faintly see my other baby ..Lets bring her out in full!

I totally agree..The Mare is misunderstood, underrated etc etc...I could try to explain why you need to get one but I would (again) like to refer to the perfect article our Risti brother Asi wrote about this subject on the forum....The 201A LOGO and 301A Mare resemble everything what the old Panerai stood 4..Owning one of these pieces is not just like owning a "little" piece of history...more like owning a "big chunk"....These 2 started it all....Pure perfection.....

I'm working like a beast on the Logo review...
It is just much longer than I thought..It's just like a trip, with unkowns detours, I even didn't suspect, but it's just fascinating...LOL
I see, you also took a pre A 9... Wowow.
What you wrote on the Mare is so just and correct...
This is just another piece of the great and TRUE Panerai Myth, not BLING.
Very happy to share all this Mare Passion with you, my friend...
After making my day, you just made my night!LOL
Best.

Your hand-made strap is incredibly stunning. I'm looking for the black bull strap. I'll email you for further info needed.

Thanks again for sharing pics of this beauty.

Cheers
