The Rarest Patek Philippe Item I have ever come across:

This is way too big for my wrist and I think I am finally old enough to wear a Patek in Public.

For Sale or Trade: C.1970's Promotional Authorized Retailers Clock from Patek Philippe.

This clock is driven by an electric motor and seems to keep OK time. I have not timed it for a long time.

The only thing I have done to this since I bought it over 7 years ago was to put a bulb it to see if it actually works and it does. There is a spot for a second bulb which is still occupied by a burnt out bulb as it was when I bought it.

I have owned this clock for over 7 years and it has been in a bag in my basement (dry) until I just took pictures to post it here today. I have NEVER seen one like this ever before. If someone else has seen this clock and has any history what-so-ever, please let me know as I am interested.

I would say the only damage to this piece is the paint on the red second hand is chipping near the center point and the clock mechanism should be looked at by someone who knows about them. I don't pretend to know anything about these movements. I would suggest the purchaser of this to have it serviced as it has not been used in YEARS.

The sticker on the back of the clock states not to use a bulb stronger than 25 watts. I am estimating the age of this clock by the style of electric movement and the type of electronics.... but just a guess. It actually may be even older than 1970.

I have pictured the clock which measures: 15.5 inches X 15.5 inches by 5.25 inches in depth.

The outer bezel is solid wood, the dial is a plastic white opaque board with painted hour track minutes and Signed Patek Philippe. The back is a metal painted black with the yellow sticker about the bulb.

I have to put a price on this so $6,500 and I am totally opened to offers of trade or offers in money.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks
