Would this work as a new ad?
May 04 2008,08:30 AM

I was at a dinner last night hosted by Swatch's Dr Frank Muller and one of the guest is this beautiful lady - Svetlana, who is the companion of Mr David Ponzo of Omega Swatch Asia. This shot was completely unrehearsed, instructed nor planned. I was just lucky to capture the moment in which she was listening intently to what Mr Ponzo was saying. I thought to try this out and thought that Omega fans here would enjoy it. smile

I believe she had on a lady Speedmaster diamonds on strap.

The short answer is a resounding yes..

However I suspect it to be the Ladies Deville with pink MOP dials, rose gold and diamond bezel.

I had not bothered to check with her and I had assumed it was a Speedy. But now looking at the lugs, you could be right that its a Deville. smile

A resounding Yes!

Goodness me Harry,

You need to warn a Purist before putting up a breathtaking image such as that. Some may have cardiac/hypertensive problems!

The camera lens certainly loves her.

Cheers

Teng

She certainly is a Beauty...

And your picture is just great.

However, Harry, I wonder if you are allowed to post her picture here without her authorizarion?

In Canada, followiing a famous lawsuit more than 15 years ago, news agencies go to great trouble to hide the identities of people on the TV news, in the papers and in any public documents.

Again, this is a beautiful image. Thanks!

You have a point Francois..

We do not have the laws Canada has for the protection of images taken of individuals. For that matter we do not have a body of law on privacy. Not that I intentionally wish to breach her personal privacy.

Svetlana and David knows I photograph for a hobby and post the images on ThePurist. I even showed the image to her that I took. I had posted her images last year at another function and she did not object to it. smile

I will be sending her full sized high resolution of her images and will make sure she confirms that she has no objections to the image being put up. I will certainly remove it if she objects.

Cheers

Harry
