Question re authenticity
Jul 14 2008,13:35 PM

I just bought a GP SeaHawk on e-bay. It's supposed to be circa 50s with an original, unrefinished dial. The dial is pristine. However, the case and hands are rose gold. (14k gold-filled) The numbers, hour markers and second hand appear to be yellow gold. Can anyone fill me in/

G'day,

any sort of authentification requires to see a given piece in nature.
You may try GP Switzerland, which i´d guess to be the only instance in this regard.

Cheers,
Peter
