Hello. I recently aquired this watch, and i would like to know value, as well as how to get the rest of the info for it. its a Girard-perregaux. I am putting a pic of the info i have on the appraisal that came with it when it was bought in 1985. it appraised at $1695.00 then.  also, im putting a pic of the watch. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I´d recommend a local appraiser

G'day,

we´re not doing appraisals here and i´d recommend to get in touch with a local service.
Pieces with a 14K gold case and/or bracelet usually tend to be quite a bit older than 1985 and based on the numerals mentioned, i´m tempted to put this one into 1970´s. The reference / model code suggests the case to be of US provenance and the watch to be produced for the US markets then.
Local casework used to be a practice by GP and other brands for many years, but unfortunately limits accessible informations. Unlike today, GP then made many (hundreds) of different models. But existing archives do not reveal much input, creating difficulties to share details on the specific model.

Cheers,
Peter
