GP 2008 - a visual overview of all 2008 novelties
May 15 2008,22:53 PM

Dear enthusiasts,

still catching up!

To start with impressions of the new 2008 models by Girard-Perregaux, it may be interesting to see some sort of overview. Which, as usual, is extensive smile
Nonetheless, one easily gets the idea of the different lines - it´s a very well balanced new portfolio and new model integrate themselves exceptionally well into the existing lines.

In figures, apart from the "big news" (the Constant escapement, which truly deserves a closer look outside the watches) there are 42 new models and variants!
You will see some brand new models (such as the in-house enamel, the tourbillons, the Sea Hawk Pro 1.000m), as well as new case/dial configurations (such as the Evo Moon in Rose Gold, the Vintage 1966 on bracelet or the WW.TC Financial in steel on bracelet).
There´s a variety of details and interesting background, but that´s to be shared when having a closer look at the individual models.

Without further ado, here´s your first chance to pick your favorite:

Which would be your choice?
Enjoy!

Greetings from Germany,

Peter

Wow impressive job, you did here!

They are all here, like in a catalogue!

My choice? Better speak of choiceS! LOL

Vintage Sixties,  Vintage 45 enamel in WG, WWTC with the enamel map of Earth ( but in WG), the Tourbillon double axes, ...

Yes, this year, there are so many tempting GP watches...

Thanks for this post, Peter, my friend.

Best.

Vintage 1945 with offcentre hour and minute hand
May 16 2008,05:17 AM

My choice would be the Vintage 1945 with offcentre hour and minute hand with offwhite dial in steel case... it's such a beauty!

But since i'm a sucker for divewatches the new SeaHawk also looks mighty fine to me smile
