I really love this version!
It gives to the watch a a superb Vintage look, a bit like the old Military Chronos.
I saw one yesterday, with a light brown dial, it made me smile when I saw again MY Type XX.

Love affair with this one… it’s got me hypnotized.
Jul 04 2008,12:36 PM

I know it’s not up to the standards of the folks here but I think it’s beautiful and the quality of the finish is as good as any of my other watches in my collection.

Been on the wrist for 8 straight days.  Might switch to my GO sport evo tonight.

2 wrists, 2 watches for me as i'm still trying the Star wheel out.
Jul 04 2008,13:04 PM

this on the left wrist, but with black croc strap.

and this on the right wrist.

i've replaced the OEM strap which is thin as sellotape and put a nice deep brown croc on it. for all those of you who noticed at the London GTG that the rotor was sticking, i've done a mini service. i just lightly oiled the centre of the rotor. i'm wearing it at the moment to make sure it keeps itself wound by the rotor and it seems to be fine. keeping perfect time which isnt bad for a concept style piece that is 17 years old and hasnt been serviced for 8 years.

some people might wonder why i wear 2 watches on occasions, but i just point out that they wear 2 shoes, 2 earrings etc ALL the time smile

Graham
