Good things come to those that wait...
Jul 07 2008,20:22 PM

Well, it was longer than I had expected....but as they say "All's well, that ends well".

I would like to thank  Alex G for his patience and his help. I spent yesterday afternoon talking with a fellow watch enthusiast, it was a very enjoyable experience for me. Thanks to you Bernard, it was a pleasure to meet you and the watch will be a reminder of what nice people there are on this planet, both near and far, and how we are all much more similar than we are different.

Thanks, and my kindest regards to you both. I hope that our paths may cross again one day.

Cheers,

Rob

The Historiques Chronograph is one of my favorite chronographs. Wear it well and in the best of health.

Has Alex talked you into getting the watch the Historiques Chronograph is based on, the Ref. 4178? smile

Sorry, I stopped breathing for a second.

Goooooorgeous. This is a watch that will only become more beautiful the longer you own it, and the 'levels' of the dial, and the truly extraordinary execution of every detail (loving detail) will be felt by anyone who wears or gazes upon this masterpiece!

Yeah, it's all right I guess....
