Blue rubber strap for my MMD
Jun 22 2008,16:48 PM

I have no idea why I waited so long to buy one, but I now have a blue rubber strap along with my bracelet. Really worth the money. It feels great, looks great, and nothing says boating like a MMD on a rubber strap. I still use the bracelet because... well it's great too, but the blue strap bringing out the blue hands is just great.

Sorry for the cell phone pics.

The boat is not bad, either!

Seriously, a nice combo, and I'm sure you will give some ideas to MMD owners, here!

Best.

I too tried looking for a rubber strap in all the usual places on the web with no luck. I took my watch into the dealer where I bought it to have a pin in the buckle looked at. As they were taking a look at it, I was looking at the new Maxi diver chronograph and it had a really nice blue strap and I thought it would look great on my watch. Well they came back with the bracelet and said they had to order a new piece for it... I knew I couldn't live without my watch for a week. I asked if I could buy a rubber strap, they said sure and we tried 3 different ones on the watch. I picked the blue and off I went $700 poorer.

My dealer is GREAT. I don't know if we can mention specific dealers here so I will error on the safe side. But definitely have a talk with your local dealer about buying a strap.

It's like having two different watches now. The bracelet and the rubber strap make the watch look completely different. I honestly can't tell you which one I like better, good thing I have both now.

I should also mention that the rubber is infused with vanilla, and you get a waft of vanilla smell when your arm is close to your head. mmmmmmm

I noticed there was  another watch with the same configuration (and on a boat) in the gallery. much clearer  pic than mine.
