Blue Phantom pics
Jun 17 2008,19:40 PM

I had the chance to take these today, thought I'd share them with you. An amazing piece. Congrats to new owner.

Zoomed in, forgive the dust on the bezel!!!!

The details of the finishing are amazing, check out the graining of the back plate, pale blue synthetic sapphire jewels. All in all a stunning execution of the Freak.
Cheers,
Tim

and I love the innovation, the wildness and brave design... but why oh why does it have to actually say Blue Phantom on the bezel????????????????

For Batman, okay.

Foe me and my $XX,OOO's, no...   smile

But I really do admire UN! Bravo.

Amazing watch, amazing finished, amazing design

This Blue Phantom is, for me, the nicest of the modern Freaks...

The finish and the design is awesome, and at the contrary of the Freak II with its redesigned plates in a " Cotes de Geneve " Finish,, the Blue Phantom has more this concept watch look that gives to this watch its " raison d'etre "...

As for the Blmue Phantom writing, , Mostel, you will see that on all the Freaks you have something at 6...It has been made to avoid the hazardous changes of Time, as the bezel is used to set the Hour on this watch...

So this thing at 6 is used like a pusher to keep the bezel firm...

Best.

Nicolas

Stunning pics Tim..

Give UN credit for manufacturing yet another beautiful itineration of the Freak. Though I personally prefer the newer 28'800 w/Cotes de Geneve plates myself, the creation of the Blue Phantom represents IMO a tasteful, and evolutionary style approach to this spectacular timepiece.

That is one very lucky owner indeed.
