A watch being utilised...
Jun 03 2008,23:37 PM

I had the fortune to get a three day trip in to O'ahu, love those mileage programs, and I got to spend 2 hours surfing with my Blue Surf. Unfortunately I do not have a water resistant camera, so the only pics I got were from the balcony 35 floors up looking out at the break on the reef by the channel.
The watch worked impeccably and also enjoyed a 1 1/2 hr hammering at Makapuu bodysurfing. If anyone is wondering about a MMD and it's suitability for water sports, I can attest, you have a watch that will stand up no problem. It has a few more scratches on the bracelet, but those I think of as "badges of honor"
Here is the surf spot:

And a rather better image of the watch, but here we see the pool 35 floors down, over the balcony...

I only wish I could have spent longer in the tropics of Hawaii!

Cheers,

Tim

Can't agree more with you...A watch has to be used, and scratches on the bracet are nothing less than what you said!
Fantastic pics, by the way!
You're a lucky guy!
This is just a piece of paradise...
Best, my friend.

Anytime spent in Hawaii is too short! I'm fortunate to get to go over occasionally.
Warm regards,
Tim

Wow Tim just a few hours in the water.

Hi Tim,

I am not sure I understood the length of the trip.  I hope it was longer than a day.

That UN is looking very smart.

Hi Bill

A quick 3 days, it was submerged every day...Swimming one, surfing the next and body-surfing the final day!
Cheers,
Tim

Hi Tim, very nice shots of the MMD and thanks for the 'field test' report smile

Looks like you stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, and let me guess... Tapa Tower?  I think it's one of the best hotels in Oahu, excellent service and great facilities.

Regards,
ED-209
