Don't have much info on the model...
Mar 18 2008,09:31 AM

Hi Nicolas,
I acquired this a few years ago as a new old stock piece. My understanding is that it had been lying dormant in a jewelers safe somewhere together with a couple of siblings since the 70's.
It came with the original COSC papers and hang tag. It was in need of a service, which it received at UN. As you probably figured out it is a high beat movt. and has a very 1970's feel and look to it. It is actually quite comfortable to wear!
Other than this I don't have any other data for you.
A fun piece to own and one that shows that similar Ulysse Nardin willingness to try something a little less conservative.
Warm regards,
Tim

sorry i meant the hi-beat 70's piece. here's my 'old school' although
Mar 21 2008,16:17 PM

i dont really consider 1996 as 'old school' especially as its got Oeschlins ground breaking mechanism in it.

Hi Graham,
You have some superb watches, the Ludwig Perpetual is a classic and as you say endowed with Ludwig's brilliance with that unique perp. cal. mechanism.

Thanks for sharing it.

Cheers,
Tim
