A new member of my PP family - Gondolo 5098P
Jul 16 2008,02:21 AM

My AD called me yesterday and said they had a 5098P for me. Being a die-heart sucker for PPs, I found that difficult to resist - even though I already have a 5124J which has the same Cal. 215 movement. I have always loved the vintage design of the dial and overall layout of the watch.

Obviously I have gone by the heart rather than the mind. Here are some pics and wristshots.

Sorry about the rather poor quality of the photos. Next time I will take some nice ones - with my tuxedo on!

The curved crystal
Jul 16 2008,18:02 PM

makes it difficult to focus and reflects light.

Here is my attempt at a watch this is very beautiful in the metal.
