I'm a proud owner of a datoperp for a few weeks.
I love the looks of the dial, the movement, the size, everything. It adds nicely to my small collectiom.

I've been following this forum for a while (three years), never posted before, and I think that it's very informative and enjoyfull.
Keep up the good work boys.

PS. I know that my photos are not like Edwin's, not even close, but I try to make better ones.

Welcome here, Aridim!

A real pleasure to welcome you, and to see that you decided to attend to our / your forum, my friend.

And what would be a nicer occasion than this one?

Posting a Lange is wonderful!

Well, honestly , I prefer the Dato and the pc separately, but to each his own.

You decided to choose a piece of high horology, nicely made, with a beautiful movement...

The other factors are very subjective, indeed!

So congrats, and hope you will attend here more often, now!

Best.

Nicolas

Thank you Nicolas

Thank you very much for your kind words Nicolas.
At first, I intended to buy either the LP or the Dato. But after I tried them in metal, I think Dato is a bit small and the LP, except of being small, is suitable for a certain age and up.

Anyway, these are personal tastes and thanks God, Lange satisfies us all.

LOL

Sounds (kind of) familiar: when I bought my first Lange back in 2002 I was possitive that it would be my first and last Lange Uhr ...

Great watch Aris! Hope you get to wear it, and the other watches in your collection, in good health.

Edwin

ps/1 your to modest about your photographic skills!!
ps/2 nice VC!! It looks rather big but it is "just" a 40mm model isnt it?

Thank you very much Edwin, but

I am fully aware that my skills are in a much lower level than yours, so keep posting.
Last year, when I bought the TZ, I thought that it was going to be the most expensive watch I was going to have. But, as you have mentioned before, I was affected by the lange virus with known results.
Now I am dreaming the new Cabaret Tourbillon, but my wife has declared that she is going to divorce me, if I make a move.
Anyway, future will tell.

The Vacheron is the Patrimony Contemporaine (manual) with 40mm diameter, but it feels bigger.

Aris

Congrats and Enjoy - the patrimony is great as well
Jul 08 2008,16:29 PM

The V&C Patrimony 40mm automatic is my current everyday watch. It looks so humble sitting next to two complicated Lange's. The pictures are great, it's nice to see a collection of watches.
