My new RL
May 10 2008,17:44 PM

I just bought  a new RL rose gold. It is truely stunning. However the watch lost time 3-4 seconds per day. I am little despondent about it.

Hi there,

Mine was the same initially after several days of continous wearing and winding things are normal now.

Perhaps they need to run in like new cars.LOLOLO......

Congratulation!Wear it in the best of your health!

Congrats....

on getting one of the finer pieces out there. As for it being a teeny bit slow, as BHK9 correctly put it, these fine watches are somewhat like cars, need a bit of breaking in before settling into their optimal path of continuous service. Should be fine after a few days so no worries. Congrats again!!! smile

3 or 4 sec per day, this is nothing, my friend...
And BHK9 is correct, at the end of one month you'll see changes changing a bit...
Best, and first of all...ENJOY IT!

Just wait a few days.

A L&S watch doesn't need to be broken in but wait a few days to test the accuracy and test it on a long period. So many factors can influence the accuracy that a simple test is most of the time nonsense.

Congrats for your purchase, it's a beautiful watch !

We expect pics now !

wink
