Xmas Decorations at Place Vendome.
We, Watchnuts, all know Place Vendome as the High End Luxury Parisian " Cradle ".
The Ritz, the Breguet, Blancpain, Patek Philippe, Rolex and JLC Boutique are here, reigning in a majestuous way on this Place, near the Ministry of Justice, very close to the Opera Garnier.
" Paris est une Fete " ( A moveable Feast ) as Hemingway wrote ( the book was published in 1964... Curious conicidence..
, and nothing is more true in December, when Paris takes on its Christmas Lights.

Visiting Pace Vendome (& Paris) during the X-mas holidays always feels like a fairy tale .... . I looked it up and i have been there in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 admiring the Christmas-decorations .... . I might return before the end of the year ... maybe...

I'm reading your post about Place Vendome as I am munching on Laduree Macaroons. How fitting. Just one problem, I am reading and eating from California! Hoping to visit Paris again someday. Feed the young lady with the pink hat some macaroons.
