Have a look here if there's time left...

amsterdamvintagewatches.com -> Singel 416 (right by the flower market and the purple flowers in your picture), or visit Schaap en Citroen (AD for all the big brands) at PC Hooftstraat 40 (just a street away from the Rijksmuseum). The last street comes with a Gassan and a Tiffany's boutique as well. If all else fails Schiphol airport has a Gassan shop as well wink Enjoy!

One reason for taking more photos... This forum is the only place where I post them, by tje way!!!

Soak it in...

I'll always remember my first visit there - exactly 20 years ago! If you have the time, why not hop on the train from Centraal Station to Haarlem (just a few minutes west). You'll appreciate the same/smaller setting without the tourists...

A bit in a hurry... Leaving tomorrow...

But we'll do our best. Thank you.

Nice photos! I wonder... Are there visible rodents? Whenever there's water, I suspect there's rodents. In NYC for instance, there are rodents everywhere. They come out, steal food out of the garbage, and bring it back to the subway! They climb the stairs ...

Just saw a dead, floating rat,

I don't know if there are many in Amsterdam and I'm not aware of their behaviour. I'm sorry!

No worries! Good to know! There are floating rodents!

Thank you! I'm going to watch Ratatouille, the movie, tonight! One of my favorite Pixar movies!

🤣 That is a good movie.

Very interesting people photos!

Is that guy laying on the water banks holding and smoking what I think he is? Looks to be more that a cigarette. And the picture of the girl riding the bike while seemingly staring at her phone is a great shot! I just hope she was safe. Great series of pi...

Looks like a big self-rolled cigarette!

 By: patrick_y : September 1st, 2023-22:19
Probably with some other things in the hand rolled thing.

the plastic cilinder these 'funky' cigarets come in from the "herb' shop is right by his side

What are your favorite Pixar films?

 By: patrick_y : September 1st, 2023-22:18
Mine are Ratatouille, Up, Wall-E, and The Good Dinosaur (this one is probably not as universally good as other Pixar films, but I really enjoyed it). Some people will be a little surprised that Finding Nemo isn't on my list.

Nothing beats Wall-E for me. I get really emotional each time 😳

 By: ArmisT : September 1st, 2023-22:31
Honestly, it’s amazing how these films are able to affect emotions so effectively. Wall-E and Ratatouille probably my top two, but also like Up and Monsters Inc. Of course the significance of Toy Story and Cars must be highlighted, as well as Finding Nemo...

That's right! Nothing bad!

I have a huge affection for Amsterdam as I lived there very happily for 3 years. If the stars aligned in a different way I could easily imagine going back to live there.

Lovely photos!
