I must say that although I do love the dial design (which raises the heckles of the traditionalists), tactile feel of the pushers is a disappointment vs other handwound column wheel chronos.
And the movement finish cannot be said to be class leading any longer amongst its competitors.
Those r some of my disappointments together w a bracelet tat may hv come straight fr a Breitling Chronomat!

I have to admit that the SS bracelet is VERY comfortable. Having said that, the polished bracelet is still a little too attention grabbing for my taste. I tried a few different strap variations and I think I'm finally getting close to one that I like... I...

Glad you like it Vlad. You'd better hurry though...
Is it necessary to the used market?

This watch appears at least on Patek's home page. When I bought it a couple of months ago, it was not difficult to get. Best, Kari

Agree on the push buttons...

I was a bit disappointed as well. I compared the pushers on my 5960/1A vs. 5960P and they both felt similarly 'hard'. By no mean comparable to the likes of 5070. Now regarding movement finishing, do you feel that the movement finishing on the steel versio...
Finishing & Tactile Feel ...
By: mycroft : September 15th, 2015-01:51
Although I do not have the earlier Plat version or seen one, my understanding is that Patek finishes its watches to a single standard irregardless of the casing metal. The tactile feel of the pushers does loosen up a bit after a few applications, but comp...
The replacement of this movement/reference
By: Jester : September 15th, 2015-21:20
Ref: 5905 has already been announced since the Basel fair in April this year so it's fair to assume Patek are just casing the remaining 5960 movements in SS case, making it affordable to shift the stocks.
No official announcement yet.

However, as the other 5960 versions (gold, platinum) have been discontinued and some are thinking the new 2015 5905 reference can replace the 5960 line-up, it may be true. Just a guess. Cheers, Mark
I prefer that way too

BUT the strap selection from most of the manufacturers are far from satisfactory hence I had no choice but to use my imagination.
