Omega: Omega Scarabé

Hello to all, I've posted this watch previously on watchuseek. I got it recently but I'm puzzled with something: after a closer inspection I realized that there is something that doesn't fit completely about this watch and it's not the first time! Comparing the serials of movement and case it happen

Omega: I don't think so...

Suveran models were made specifically for the swedish market and with swedish inscriptions outside back case either it was a officer model or not and with the 2400 reference.

Omega: Omega database discrepancies

yes, that's true about the reference on omega's database but I've crossed many watches with features that don't match omega's information totally. Omega: keep original dials!

Both watches are very interesting timepieces. The 26.5 has a very rare type of case with the movement incrusted inside the back-case. The 23.4 is also very nice but i have doubts about the second hand. Otherwise very nice watches!

Omega: Back again with more information!

Hi folks! Terribly sorry for the delay but pictures take some time specially if you don't have a good camera! Ok, so here we have some more pics. The movement is the 30ies classic 23.4SC T1. Movement serial dates back to 1936 but the case reference is from around 1942 - a bit to far. Snap-in back wi
