Jaeger-LeCoultre: Hard to know since the service report was somewhat sketchy.

It only said the watch was disassembled, defective parts replaced, cleaned and oiled, reassembled and tested. It suddenly stopped running and there was no resistance when I turned the stem to wind the watch. I assumed they would tell me I overwound it but that was thankfully not the issue.

My Reverso arrived today after repair under warranty. Total time from the online request for service to it being back on my wrist was 23 days. Thanks to the Munich service centre and JLC for making the process so easy.

IWC: I honestly don’t see much advertising for watches.

The ones I see are in magazines and devoted to watches targeted towards women. The only watch I bought that I would consider a protest was a Rolex Cellini. I call it the unRolex. I traded in my YG DD and the AD showed me this and a JLC. I immediately loved the elegant design and purchased it on the
