Let me try to rephrase my thinking. I find that the balance between halo-watches and watches for more normal budgets has shifted. I (seem to) remember ia time where you were able to choose between a number of Master Controls, Master Compressors, Amvoxes and even Reversos at attractive price levels,

Which is all fine. I certainly have my prejudices too against certain brands - and once in a while I do get a wake-up call making me realize that they actually do great stuff, just coming at it from a different perspective.
