What a Ponzi Scheme. cheers PAt

i disagree, bidding them will be putting money back in the pockets of those he conned

 By: G99 : June 10th, 2011-01:02
this is all going towards financial confiscation order to repay the people who are now massively out of pocket after being conned. they wont get all their money back, but the more that people bid the more they'll get back. far better than him keeping it o...

if it is going back to the rightful people then it is appropriate..

there are quite a few i'd love to own especially the Pierre Kunz Insanity, but to own 4 is to put it mildly.............insane. i think he's just a crook (with too much of other peoples money to spend) who happens to have read a few watch mags. Graham

I hope he misses them a lot

while in prison. Best Andreas

I couldn't do it

Perhaps there are no bad watches, just bad watch owners, but I would have little appetite to own a watch formerly the property of such a chap. I hope those that can bear it get a bargain and it goes to good cause!

unbelievable Collection

are such experts at describing high end watches. The terminology that they use including the type of clasp, dial etc. is really accurate. Maybe there is a WIS position at Treasury?

i think they've probably used...

 By: G99 : June 10th, 2011-12:45
i think they've probably used the services of one of the experts from one of the big auction houses. G

We're being a bit harsh...

If you give that collection a careful second look, it shows some thematic direction and quite a deal of discrimination. Many may not appeal much personally, but leaving aside a few aberrations (who hasn't got some of those?) it's quite a clever collection...

What would this collection be worth??

 By: tomgtv : June 11th, 2011-04:43
I was wondering what these 262 pieces would be worth? If you assumed each piece was worth on average $15,000USD that would be just under $4,000,000. Could this have represented 10 million or more at purchase?? Google Scott Rothstein to see his story. He w...
