Pre-Basel 2011: Bulgari Serpenti 7 Coil

 By: ED209 : February 1st, 2011-19:29
The serpent has been a symbol of eternal youth and immortality since antiquity; Bulgari has been using the motif for decades and it is now considered one of the brand’s aesthetic signatures. In 2010 Bulgari launched single and double coil SERPENTI models ...

How do you wear it?

I've only seen one or 2 pictures of the Serpenti pieces on a person, and I think they were worn with the tail at the wrist and the head (where the dial is) at the far end. Is that the way they're expecting women to wear this? A

Saw a skilful lady ...

wore it in less than 90 seconds Most of the ladies I've seen wore it with the head (time) towards the hand or on the wrist and let the tail twirled towards the direction of the elbow. Kong

90 seconds?

That seems like a long time to put on a piece of jewelry, lol. But I bet the end effect is worth all the effort.

When the 7-Coil ....

Hi Ping Putting the 7-coil on alone for the first time needs skill Was asking a couple of guys who have tried on the double coil, their replies were an assistant would be needed to put the 7-coil on. When the piece is in your area, perhaps you can time yo...

LOL, will definitely have to do this. If only...

...to see Ed wear a bright gold coiled bracelet on his arm. lol

I'm curious too

This new 7 coil version looks like it'll wrap around then entire forearm. I wonder if there needs to be a piece of matching jewelry on the other arm to counter balance it? Regards, ED-209

I would go bare on the other arm.

The focus should be on the single piece and anything on the other arm would be overshadowed anyways. I'd wear it with a sleeveless or strapless dress, preferably dark in color, nothing around the neck and maybe some gold dangle earrings.

Fit for Cleopatra...

Fit for an Egyptian Queen... Personally, I think the normal 3 coil design looks better. With seven coils, there has to be a particular theme and appropriate clothing to go with it. Furthermore, there's got to be some heavy artillery on the other hand (or ...

Actually....

....I'd go bare on the other arm to accentuate the 7 coil piece. I think it would look great with a one shoulder black dress, placed on the arm with the bare shoulder, nothing around the neck and large gold dangle earrings.

That is clever...

I like the one shoulder dress idea. That's an excellent idea for the models at Baselworld!

Wow 7 coils. I wonder how long it takes to put on this Serpenti?

I would love to see a video of a beautiful lady putting on this 7 coil Serpenti! Cheers, Anthony

Hopefully, we can get it on video at Basel. [nt]
