Can't help with more literature suggestions, but my copy of the Habsburg book came complete with the auction results lists, perhaps interesting to have, so I've scanned and uploaded them here:

Apart from the 3 patek books, I think i have a pretty comprehensive collection of Breguet Literature...among them are Salomons Breguet 1921 edition plus supplement Christies auction books x 3 vol Both 'Art of Breguet' Breguet at the Hermitage' A L Breguet...

is there a novel about breguet? it seems that he lived at a time and mingled with the circles that would be perfect as the basis of historical fiction. marie antionette to napoleon...what a collection of folks. chris

which is based upon the Marie Antoniette heist back in 1983 in Jerusalem, and then takes a whole other set of situations. Sorry, but since I haven't read it yet, I cannot elaborate any more. I am sure amazon will have a more elaborate description. BTW, yo...

Hello Alex, You'll find it in the search feature here. Kurzweil's novel is a rather strange piece ,a bit bewildering,but an interesting lession about sanity and insanity among collectors. kind regards, lutz

I suppose the 'Breguet in the Hermitage' for no special reason is my favourite. But 'Art of Breguet' Habsburg is fantastic as well. Thomas Engels and Emanuel Breguets books are both the most informative along with George Daniels,...its very difficult to p... 

Impressive. I'd add some books about Marie Antoinette in there.

A thorough biography would help anyone truly understand the glamour of the French Court and the lifestyle that A.L. Breguet's clients enjoyed and the type of clients Breguet had to cater to.
