I'm looking forward to putting mine through some tough punishment. I've put my UN MMD through hell over the last year and it's still flawless, my impact should be able to take it like a walk in the park. I would love to see more tests on the durability of... 

What a wonderful post to read! Putting a manufacturer's claims to the test is always a good thing to do. So who volunteered to have his watch tested? Would be interesting to do the same thing with a "normal" Sport Evo Chrono to see how much of the fine re... 

tho we cannot promise its unblemished return should it falter the test. perhaps it would be more appropriate to test the Shock Impact Tourbillon! .......do we have a volunteer ? *grin*...

Here is the proof that G.O. claims the Sport Evo Impact Tourbillon to be suitable for golfing (taken from the window of an AD during my trip to Saxony): But I am not really sure if they would lend a sample for testing to you ;-) Read you Martin...

I've been golfing for 8 plus years now, know how to assemble a driver (standard or bore through), irons, wedges, woods, hybrids, putter, spine and flo shafts, grips, swing weight etc and while I did know about how dimples affect flight, spin and distance,...

. . . and kudos to your assistant for volunteering in this real-world test of toughness. We've all read the posts confirming the implacability of the Impact to assorted tortures, but having verifiable data to back it up is invaluable . . . kinda like the ...

the shock? Is the 4 pieces of red colour materials the 'suspension'? Nice dimple theory writeup too. Kong

when the watch is viewed face on, the Cal 39 movement is suspended in the case by the 4 red shock absorbers. therefore you can actually see right thru the watch in the gaps between the movement and case. the only other visible item in the gap is the windi... 

Any science shared by the GO about this shock absorber/movement-holder design? Even the placement is interesting. Why not at the normal quadrant 12,3,6 & 9? Instead at 2,4 8 & 10, passing through the push-buttons. Next time, doing this kind of test, pleas...
